I am a Melbourne-based playwright and theatre director. I am artistic director of Quiet Little Fox, a regular collaborator with Attic Erratic, have recently worked with Bell Shakespeare, MTC and Red Stitch and have taught at Monash University. In 2009 I completed my post-grad diploma of performance creation (directing) at The Victorian College of the Arts and in 2013 I returned to complete my Masters of performance writing. Last year I was short-listed for the Edward Albee scholarship and I am a former winner of the South Australian State Theatre Company’s Young Playwright Award.
I walk dogs, cook bread and forget to take the bins out.
I can pin up my hair with just five bobby-pins.
I write on theatre, audiences, criticism, politics, education and being an artist. My responses to plays are not reviews but discussions. I hope to add to the noise, never take away from it. I am not the last word. I am not the verdict. I here because I love loving theatre.
Stick around and have a conversation.
